Thanks to Brindi Joy, editor of the bi-yearly YHA magazine, for taking me on this awesome tour of Christchurch!
Chocolate stand at the Farmers Market, mmmm. Brindi told me that the markets were not as popular before the earthquake, but now that a lot of stores have been destroyed more people use the market to sell their goods. It was a really big one!
Awesome buskers! Young and talented twins
Then we went to a fabric show!
Kimono fragments
An example of how buildings have been affected by the earthquake: not knocked down completely, but structually damaged.
Support for walls are all around town
And the Littleton Pier! A cute suburb of Christchurch.
Thanks Brindi!
